Sea Gull!

10 am - 29 degrees out, and it is overcast.
I saw this guy flying around yesterday, and the day before. Today he was in the creek, and hanging out with the female mergansers. He may be a stray from a large flock I saw yesterday up at the Collegeville Inn, there at the Ridge Pike Bridge.

Getting Cold!

I saw three female cardinals today, and ten mergansers, and two great blue herons flying together. Oh and two blue Jays! The creek in beginning to freeze. It has ice around the side and thin sheets of ice floating down stream. The tempature today is 27 degrees at 1:25 pm. It is overcast - again!

Mergansers & a Fox!

I caught a blurry photo of the mergansers flying while trying to catch a good photo of the fox on the island. He is still out there now in the same spot sunning himself. I saw six mergancers yesterday, three male and three female. I also saw at least ten, possible twelve Dark eyed Juncos. Here is Mr. Fox. :.)
